About Us

The Cleaborn family has been restructuring and renovating homes since the 80’s, when Mr. Milton Cleaborn closed deals with his word, a handshake, and a smile.

Milton Cleaborn was born August 15,1933 and purchased his first home at 670 East McLemore in 1960. At that time, he was the only person of color in the area. However, he did not stop with that one home. He went on to purchase several other pieces of property, one of which was land he planned to build his dream home on. However, it never happened. The very land Mr. Cleaborn purchased for his dream home was not far from Memphis International Airport. An airport, which at the time, made the decision to expand. That decision tied up Mr. Cleaborn’s land for years and blocked him from building. He could not build the dream home he wanted but had to continue to keep up and maintain the land and pay for it.

His daughter, Nicole Cleaborn, picked up the torch and promised her father that his dream to build wasn’t in vain because it now lived on through her. Mr. Cleaborn simply wanted a better home for his family; however, his daughter’s plan doesn’t stop at just one home. Cleaborn Construction and Consulting LLC not only does homes, but also does flooring, roofing, cabinets, remodeling, and much more. No job is too small. We are the 3 Cs for all you home needs.
